House Clearances are a major part of our work and Team Leader Malcolm, along with a number of trainees, will quickly and efficiently clear a house or property. We understand that in some cases, where a loved one has passed away, house clearances can be a difficult time. Our friendly team will take away all items with respect, efficiency and compassion.
In addition to household clearances, the Oskars team also undertake office clearances. We also receive requests from Lawyers and Executors for this service and Malcolm will gladly visit and quote for this type of job. Our team also work closely with a number of housing organisations to provide a bulk uplift service.
Once advised of a collection, we will respond and complete the job within 24 hours, providing before and after photographs as evidence of completion.
Items that are received into Oskars are wherever possible reused or recycled, and if this is impossible then properly disposed of. Our aim in all of our services is to reuse and if that is not possible then recycle with the minimum sent to disposal facilities or landfill.
We always advise donors that we will uplift their item with the caveat ‘Drivers Discretion’. To avoid disappointment or embarrassment please ask yourself before donating – is this item in working order and suitable for reuse? Is the item in a sellable condition? If you item does not fall into the category above we will still uplift it but this will incur a charge to you. Charges start from £35.
